The Sentech Stage 1V 2000 is a multiple therapy mattress replacement system. It is recommended for persons in the bariatric weight range up to 227kg and if they have either an exisiting pressure ulcer or are at a very high risk of developing a pressure ulcer.

The Stage 1V 2000 is an advanced system whereby it automatically sets the appropriate interface pressure when the patient height and weight is recorded. Alternation cycle time of the system is 5 minutes.

Options of the Stage 1V 2000 includes a wider support surface for bariatric users plus the side bolster top cover to prevent rolling over the side.

Stage 1V 2000 mattress replacement has a control unit with readouts in real time. The system can provide an extra 20 percent of pressure  to the support surface for inclined patients by pressing the Fowler boost button.

The Stage 1V 2000 automatically adjusts the interface pressure when the patient moves. The automatic settings of the Stage 1V 2000 can be overridden by a carer or nurse using the manual settings.

Stage1V 2000 features a float mode which can immerse the patient in a static relieving surface as low as 5mmHg. The Stage 1V 2000 static mode provides up to 60mmHg for patient intervention and transfer.

Stage 1V 2000 has a patented top cover from the Sentech Range and it can be set to deliver 'low air loss' which directs a stream of air onto the users skin to keep it cool and dry This benefits the user because it reduces heat and moisture build up in order to prevent and treat pressure ulcers. Stage 1V top cover is designed to inhibit sheer, and friction and is also bacteriostatic.The top cover is machine washable.

The control unit of the Stage 1V 2000 features readouts in real time. Stage 1V 2000 system has a Fowler Boost button which provides 20 percent extra pressure to the support surface to manage pressure care when the user is inclined. This function provides an extra 20 percent support in the sacral area for the user in an inclined posiiton.
