The Accessibility Premium-8 Mattress Replacement system provides pressure relief to people with a medium to high risk of developing a pressure ulcer, and it can be fitted securely to a single bed base.

Premium-8 features an advanced cell system which includes 21 hi density internal beam cells which inflate to a height of 200mm, and includes 4 static head cells. 17 transverse cells alternate air every 10 mintues in a one in two sequence.

Premium-8 has low air loss cells in the hip and sacral area to ensure optimal pressure care. The internal cell system features spring loaded anti kink air tubing and double flanged T junction cell connectors.

The Premium-8 system includes a analogue control unit with adjustable pressure control and a static switch for constant air pressure for medical proceedures and transport mode. Quick release hose connectors attach to the control unit for easy access to mattress inflation and deflation.

A CPR tag ensures quick deflation of the cells in 30 seconds. Transport feature provides up to 30 hours air inflation.

Premium-8 mattress base is a 3 layers of foam and has a non slip surface underneath. The transverse cells section are fitted to the base with heavy duty elastic bonding straps.

The Premium-8 cover is a heavy duty PU material which is waterproof, anti-sheer and vapour permeable. It features a heavy duty quick release zipper for access to the internal cells and hose sections. The seams of the cover are taped for infection control and side flaps protect the zip from moisture.

The top cover has printed instructions on using the system and cleaning it.

Accessories for the Premium-8 include a power down alarm, a square or round hook for attaching the control unit to the bed, and a concave positioning cover which has intergrated side foam buffers to prevent the user rolling over the side.
