The StandEzy Bar is a ‘T’ shaped standing bar which clamps onto the frame of hospital style bed. It was developed and made in Australia by a Physiotherapist.

The StandEzy Bar can be used to assist with sit to stand transfers, as well as enabling rehabilitation, and exercise for the user.

The StandEzy Bar allows the user to maintain their physical strength, balance and independence. A StandEzy Bar enables a person to stand up from sitting and encourages a weight transference forwards, instead of backwards. The presence of the StandEzy results in less physical assistance from a carer.

The issue of body weight transference is often the problem faced by the frail or person with mobility issues and their carers hence this invention.

The StandEzy Bar is designed and built to allow the person to use their own strength to pull themselves up into a standing position.

Also the StandEzy Bar is portable and attaches to the frame of a standard hospital or nursing home bed with a single clamp.
