The Art Gallery of South Australia holds one of Australia’s finest art collections. The new West Wing houses collection display space, the temporary exhibitions gallery, Bookshop, and Restaurant.

Access:

Wheelchair and pram access is available to all areas of the Gallery. Ask an attendant for assistance. Wheelchairs can also be borrowed while visiting the Art Gallery and are available from the North Terrace Desk. It is recommended you telephone (08) 8207 7000 in advance of your visit for more information or to reserve a wheelchair.

Request gallery map at the main entry for location of various galleries, lifts and accessible toilets.

Vehicle:

A number of parking spaces reserved for the disabled and within reasonable proximity to the Art Gallery are located within the North Terrace precinct including spaces on Kintore Avenue and within the SA Museum grounds. Access to the Museum grounds is via the Morgan Thomas laneway - enter from Kintore Avenue (immediately behind the State Library). Access to this laneway is monitored by precinct security.
