The Lyric boasts an enormous stage and orchestra pit, and is acclaimed as the best commercial theatre in Australia for musicals, theatre, opera and ballet.
Access:
Wheelchair access to the Lyric is via lifts from the carpark, bus and ground level to the casino level. The main entrance to the Lyric is wheelchair accessible (casino level). The box office has good access, is well lit, clearly defined and is close to the entrance on the casino level.
Seating:
Adjacent to the box office is the lift, which accesses the upper level and the wheelchair seating areas. There is a hearing loop.

There is an accessible toilet within the Lyric.
Vehicle:
Accessible carparks are located under the Casino, entry from Pirrama Street. Use the lift to access the casino level (& Showroom level). The vehicle set down area is located off Pirrama Street. Use lift to access the casino & Showroom level. The taxi rank is located at the rear of Star City Casino, off Pyrmont Street.
Bus:
Wheelchair accessible bus, route 888 operates between Circular Quay & Star City. The bus waiting area is located on the Pirrama Street side of the Casino (harbour side).
Lightrail:
From Central Station, alight at Casino Station.
Monorail:
Alight at Casino Station.
Ferry:
From Circular Quay, alight at Darling Harbour wharf (wheelchair accessible) - travel 400 metres.
