Access:
Accessible wheelchair entry from College Street (near corner of William St) to ramp leading to main entry. The main entry is the main stairs from William Street. There are good paths of travel within the Museum. There is a lift near entry that accesses all levels. There are also audio-visual displays.
Assistance: There is a hands-on tour for the people with vision impairments. For bookings phone 02 9320 6163.

An accessible toilet is located on level 2.
Vehicle:
Carpark available to be booked - ring ahead (02 9320 6000) to arrange booking. - entry from College Street, near cnr of College and William St. Press buzzer for security to let you park within Museum grounds. There is also accessible parking at Cook & Phillip Park carpark near St Marys Cathedral (entry off Cathedral Street). There is an accessible path of travel from carpark via ramps to Cathedral Square, then 100 metres travel to the Museum.
Bus:
Wheelchair accessible bus on route 441 (Balmain District to QVB); route 100 (Dee Why to Airport, via North Sydney and Phillip and Elizabeth Streets); route 178 (Dee Why to Town Hall); route 175 (Warringah Mall to Town Hall). Sydney explorer bus stop 15 in front of museum.
Train:
Museum and St. James Stations are located under Hyde Park but are not wheelchair accessible. Use the monorail from Central Station, to the City Centre Station. Use lift or stairs to Pitt St level (near corner of Pitt & Market). Travel 300 metres to the Museum.
