Taronga Zoo is the nation's leading zoological garden, featuring Australia's finest collection of native animals and a diverse collection of exotic species.
Access:
There is wheelchair access into the main entrance and rear entrance of the Zoo. Most of the Zoos animal exhibits are accessible by wheelchairs and strollers. There are some steep paths of travel throughout the Zoo.
Toilets:
There are 4 unisex accessible toilets throughout the Zoo. There are 4 baby care rooms throughout the Zoo.
Vehicle:
Accessible carparks are located at the front of the main entrance. Vehicle set down area is located in front of the main entrance.
Bus:
Bus route 247 operates from the City (QVB) to Taronga Zoo. The bus also picks up people from Taronga Wharf and stops at the Zoo entrance. There is no wheelchair accessible bus route.
Ferry:
It takes 12 minutes from Circular Quay to the Taronga Zoo wharf (accessible). There is a steep hill to the rear entrance of the Zoo.
