A visit to the Powerhouse Museum can include touch screen computers, audio phones, science experiments, virtual reality 3D theatres, extraordinary performances, films, highlight tours, fascinating lectures and public programs.

Access:

Entry from Harris St to main entry of the Power House Museum. There are lifts and ramps to all floors. There are audio & visual displays throughout all levels. There are hearing loops in theatres & auditoriums. Special services are available for the hearing and visually impaired. Phone the information service on 02 9217 0111. Bilingual guided tours are also provided.

Toilets:

Accessible toilets are located on levels 2 & 3.

Vehicle:

Accessible carparks are available at the carpark adjacent to the Entertainment Centre (entry off Darling Drive).

Bus:

Red Explorer Bus to stop 17 at Entertainment Centre. Use walkover from Haymarket Monorail Station. Otherwise use bus route 501 from Town Hall Station to Power House Museum. There is a wheelchair accessible bus route 888, which operates between Circular Quay and Star City.

Monorail:

Alight at Haymarket Station, use ramped walkover and travel 200 metres to Museum. The ramp is 90 metres long.Lightrail: from Central Station, alight at Haymarket Station and use lift to Haymarket Monorail Station. Use ramped walkover.
