A Bicentennial Project, Riverside Theatres opened in 1988 offering three venues under the one roof. The Rafferty’s Theatre, the most intimate space seats around 100 people and suits small corporate events, seminars, stand up comedy acts, small scale productions, or even an exhibition. The Lennox Theatre is a flexible space seating approximately 220 people. The largest theatre, the Riverside Theatre, can house up to 761 patrons with comfortable, plush seating in a conventional proscenium arch stage with orchestra pit and fly tower.

Access:

The accessible wheelchair entry is from 253 Church Street, adjacent to Parramatta River. The box office is adjacent to the theatre entrance door. The main theatre is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. The 2 theatres on the upper floor are not wheelchair accessible.

Seating:

While booking tickets for the main theatre (Ph. 02 8839 3399), be sure to tell staff that you will require a wheelchair space. Staff will remove seats from a designated wheelchair seating area (Row P). All auditoriums have full coverage of hearing loops.

Toilets:

There are unisex accessible toilets adjacent to the box office and in the main theatre foyer.

Vehicle:

There is accessible parking on Market Street, and in nearby carparking stations - RarkRoyal Carpark, Erby Place Carpark, Horwood Place Carpark.

Bus:

There is a bus waiting area on Market Street.

Train:

The nearest accessible railway station is Parramatta (easy access).
