Access:

The main entry from Harris Street has a stair. Use the wheelchair accessible entry (30 metres to the right) and press buzzer. The path of travel leads to the Gallery level. There are good paths of travel throughout the Gallery. A lift also accesses the Gallery level from the basement carpark.

Toilets:

There are accessible toilets in the male and female toilets. The toilets are located near the lift.

Vehicle:

There is parking available underneath the Art Gallery, but there is no designated accessible bay (entry from Quarry Street). A lift accesses the Gallery level.

Bus:

Red Explorer Bus to stop 17 at Entertainment Centre. Use walkover from Haymarket Monorail Station. Otherwise use bus route 501 from Town Hall Station to the Powerhouse Museum. From Circular Quay, take the 442 Star City bus to Harris Street. There is no wheelchair accessible bus route in this area.

Train:

The nearest accessible railway station is Central Station.

Lightrail:

From Central Station, alight at Haymarket Station and use lift to Haymarket Monorail Station. Use walkover to the Powerhouse Museum, take a right and travel 200 metres.

Monorail:

Alight at Haymarket Station, use ramped walkover and travel 200 metres to Museum. The ramp is 90 metres long. Take a right at the Powerhouse Museum and travel 200 metres.
