The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre has been voted the fifth best purpose built centre in Asia - and the best in Australia.

Access:

There is level entry into the Convention Centre from Darling Harbour and the Darling Drive vehicle drop off area. There is a ramp entry from Darling Harbour, opposite Imax, into the Exhibition Halls. There are ramps, stairs and lifts that access each level of the Convention Centre. There are good paths of travel throughout the Exhibition Halls. All auditoriums have wheelchair seating and hearing loops.

Toilets:

There are accessible toilets on all levels of the Convention Centre. There are unisex accessible toilets throughout the Exhibition Halls.

Vehicle:

Accessible carparks are located in the carpark level under the Exhibition Centre (entry from Darling Dve). There is a lift that accesses the carpark with the Convention Centre and Exhibition Halls. Other accessible carparks are located at Novotel Carpark. Entry to the carparks is from Murray Street. Use walkover bridge to top level of Harbourside Shopping Centre and lift to Exhibition Centre level. There is vehicle drop off area along Darling Drive at the rear of the Convention & Exhibition Centre. The taxi rank is adjacent to the Convention Centre entrance and behind the Harbourside Shopping Centre.

Bus:

The Sydney Explorer set down area is along Wheat Street stop 21 behind Chinese Gardens. There is a wheelchair accessible bus route 888, which operates between Circular Quay and Star City.

Lightrail:

From Central Station, alight at Exhibition or Convention Stations.

Monorail:

Alight at Harbourside Station, use lift from Harbourside Shopping Centre and travel 200 metres to the Convention Centre.

Ferry:

From Circular Quay, alight at Darling Harbour wharf (wheelchair accessible) and travel 50 metres.
