A superb example of colonial architecture, Elizabeth Bay House was once described as 'the finest house in the colony' and enjoys a magnificent view of Sydney Harbour.
Access:
The main entrance has a stair. Wheelchair access is via Onslow Place, through the rear verandah door (east terrace) to the front door. Though the front door has a single small step, the Reception is adjacent to the front door and the staff will assist. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible. The upper level can only be reached by stair.

Toilets:
There is no accessible toilet.
Vehicle:
An accessible carpark is located adjacent to the south-east driveway, on Onslow Place.
Bus:
The Sydney Explorer Bus (non-wheelchair; stop 10) and the 311 bus from Circular Quay stop at the front door.
Train:
The nearest accessible train station is Bondi Junction (easy access June 2000). Catch a taxi to Elizabeth Bay House. Circular Quay Railway Station is fully accessible (easy access station).
