The building itself, which houses 6600 square metres of exhibition space, is composed of several individual spaces pieced together like a jigsaw puzzle, forming a semicircle around the Garden of Australian Dreams.
Access:
All Museum areas are accessible by lift or ramp.
Wheelchairs and strollers are available for hire from the cloakroom. An electronic scooter is also currently available for hire on a trial basis.
Hearing induction loops, available for use with hearing aids, are located in the Studio, Circa and Visions theatres.
Each lift has an audible voice message indicating the button you've pushed or where the lift is going.
On the first Sunday of every month an Auslan interpreter will facilitate storytelling at Story Place from 11am - 12pm.

Vehicle:
Disabled parking facilities are available close to the Museum's main entrance.
Bus:
